Welcome to My Path of Self Discovery

We've all seen it before (on movies, or in novels): a teenager facing conflict, role confusion, rebellion, eventually overcoming the conflict and reaching enlightenment....self discovery. My code name is Susanne Dey I wish to blog semi- anonymous, those of you who know me try not to blow my cover mmmm? Those of you who don't know me well it's a pleasure to finally meet you (hehehehe). This blog will consist of daily entries of whatever is in my head, on my heart, or in my fist. I'm a freelance photographer and will include a photo per day. I will not fully explain who I am or what I am born to just yet (not in this post at least) that explanation will come out on it's own little by little. I am looking forward to blogging my daily activities, even if it's just for my eyes, but for those of you reading: welcome to my path to self enlightenment.

#8 Cheek piercing diary DIMPLE PIERCING MIRACLE WORKERS!

I have been experimenting with different herb treatments that I heard were great for cheek piercings but I am in LOVEEEE with these two:

chamomile tea as I have mentioned in my previous posts it soothes, reduces redness and helps with infections

AND

TEA TREE OIL!!! oh my gosh this is just a miracle for my piercings I have been using it for the last three days and the redness around my hole has reduced by 10 TIMES some tips though:

Do not get it in an antiseptic spray if you have sensitive skin. it will dry put your poor face BIG TIME

It makes your face smell like cleaning products ;)

If you do manage to try it dab a little bit around your holes with a Q-tip and see the results; if your skin can take it and wont feel too dry and flaky continue with such once or twice daily if not dilute with water.

I have also heard that Aloe Vera is great too its worth a try! keep you posted piercing buddies!

Peace and Love

#7 cheek piercing diary infection gone!

The infection I had is now 98% gone. I have also noticed that these piercings are the sensitive type in which you have days where they're bad and a week where they co-operate with you- I call it the honeymoon period. I have also noticed that when you do get them pierced you feel as if your mouth is heavy even after the swelling goes down and when you open your mouth you can see bumps along your cheek's walls. The feeling of heaviness and the bumps leave after some time. you also have to learn to talk, smile and laugh all over again, it's been close to three months for me and I still stutter at times.

Keep you posted,

Susanne Dey
